Letchworth Garden City Eagles Reserves V Buntingford Reserves Part 1

Buntingford made the short trip to Pixmore for the first of two visits. Letchworth started brightly and Dan Large and Nico Consigni both testing the keeper early on. It was from the laters shot that Letchworth took the lead a corner from Mitchell Cox who was returning after a long term injury found Watson at the back post who sent a powerful header into the net.

In the 36th minute John Scott made a defence splitting pass to Large who put the Eagles 2-0 up.

The half time interval saw the Eagles goal keeper injured after a cuddling incident with a spectator namely Della Salle. Causing a severe nose bleed . I missed Buntingfords goal from a free kick into top corner.

On the hour a Barcelona style passing move saw Letchworth regain the two goal lead Consigni finishing a sweeping move.

This enabled Eagles to give a debut to a product from the Under 17′s namely Joe Frazer-Bossom and what a great debut he had running the midfield and helping Eagles keep the ball.

Man of the Match was Jake Tyler who helped organise the back four alongside Watson. The Eagles are defiantly flying with 9 wins in a row this season.

Saturday Buntingford are in town once more in the Herts Intermediate Cup. PLEASE NOTE 1.30pm KO
