The Eagles travelled to the team that finished runners up last season and it was the Champions once again proved why they won the league.
The team was a bit weaker than in other weeks with four players missing. The Eagles went down hill in the first half attacking the cowfield end and it was a good flowing mooooove (sorry) that gave the Eagles the lead after 7 mins Nico Consigli sneaking in at the back post to fire in from 10 yards.
The same player doubled the advantage in the 32nd minute unselfish play from Della Salle setting him up. Della Salle got on the score sheet himself two minutes later when Nico turned provider.
The hosts pulled a goal back in the 72nd minute which fired up the eagles who scored again Darrin Buttigieg with a great cross to Della Salle at the far post to score his 13th goal in 6 games.
Another good team performance everybody worked hard to keep the impressive start to the season 7 league wins in a row.
