U16 Yellows Season To Date

u16 Yellows

September

Yellows 1 Roebuck 0

A Lucas goal, 7 mins from time gave the yellows a good start to the season against a strong Roebuck team. A fantastic Charlie Thake save had kept the game even in the first half.

Yellows 1 Baldock Templars 0

Wasteful finishing from the yellows had to rely on a Jordan Leech-Levy goal midway through the second half to seal the win.

October

Yellows 1 Stevenage 3

Yellows went down to a defeat in a game that could have gone either way. Sharper finishing by Town youth gave them the deserved victory. Alex getting the consolation.

Yellows 0 Abbots youth 3  – County challenge cup

Another really tight game. Again wasteful yellows finishing and Abbots punished yellows for 3 mistakes in another game that could have gone either way.

Buntingford Cougers 3 Yellows 8 -  League cup

A depleted Eagles with only 10 and sometimes 9 players saw off a spirited 2nd div team. Marcus, Alex, Jordan and Sam amongst the goals.

Arlesey 2 Yellows 2

A poor performance and again wasteful finishing saw Yellows picking up just a point but it could have been worse. To be honest a bit of a shake up was needed by the management. Goals by Sam and Jordan gave yellows the draw in a game they dominated but just couldn’t finish off.

November

Bengeo 2 Yellows 2

Best performance so far by the yellows in a superb advert for u16 Crow league football. 2nd half goals by Sam and Luke gave the yellows a deserved point against league leaders Bengeo. Great debut by New boy Rhys

Arlesey 0 Yellows 5

Putting right the result from 2 weeks ago. Yellows showed what they could do and put Arlesey to the sword. Only poor finishing prevented a much higher score. Marcus, Lucas (2) Jodan and Sam with the goals. Another very good debut. This time by Charlie R.

Broadhall 2 Yellows 8

Much better again from the yellows and a fine hat trick from Marcus gave the eagles another good win. Stevo, Sam, Jordan and Steven M completed the scoring.

Yellows 5 B Stortford 4

2 goals in the final min by the visitors gave this game a close look but, in truth, a fine performance by the yellows took the points. A fantastic 4 goal performance by Sam and 1 by Charlie gave the Eagles the points against current champions and a team unbeaten since the first week of the season. Yellows starting to look strong.
