The Eagles are delighted to announce that they have received planning approval from North Herts District Council for the construction of a new lounge/ function room extension to their existing clubroom and changing room building. Subject to approval by the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, this extension will provide much needed space to entertain supporters of home and visiting teams with refreshments’ and the facility of being able to relax in a comfortable area. The room will be available for outside letting for functions and events and will therefore also provide a useful source of revenue to the Eagles junior and senior clubs.
Tony Eden , chairman of the Eagles seniors said “ Our original building completed in 2006 has served us well but we now need to provide bigger and better facilities for our teams and visitors to Pixmore. We now have to start fund raising so we need lots of volunteers to help with their ideas and time. If you have either or both, please contact myself or Jason Valentine. We are particularly grateful for the support of the Hertfordshire Football Association.”
The building project with be managed by Templars Building Surveyors Ltd of Baldock.
