The Eagles first and reserve teams recently celebrated the conclusion of the present season at the Cultivo Lounge in Letchworth with a tapas meal and drinks following presentation of awards to players and coaches.
The first team players player was Joe Humphries, who only joined the club this season but soon established himself in the first team.Managers’ player was first team captain Ricky Small, a long term Eagles favourite and who has dominated the midfield this season. Reserves managers player of the season was Kareem Gutzmore who was unable to attend the evening. Mick Farrar was awarded the trophy recognising his contribution to the club, both as first team assistant coach but also for all his hard work behind the scenes.
Chairman Tony Eden thanked all the players and coaches for their hard work over another successful season for the first team, reaching 3rd place in the league and the final of the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy for the second year running. Paul Howard and Trevor Sostacenko were thanked for all their work helping the reserve side to bring through some excellent young players from the youth section.
