The under 11s reds are now formed and are looking forward to a new start in division 4. The squad is made up of players who have not played in a team before and some players who have only trained before. There are a few players who have been with The Eagles for a couple of years also. The squad consists of 16 players (11 boys and 5 girls) and are one of the happiests bunch of players I have seen for some time now. There are no expectations by the players, parents and managment, the main condition for playing is that the players enjoy themselves whilst learning the game. The squad have played a couple of friendly matches and improvements are noticable already. The photograph was taken before a friendly match against Austen Arrowheads of Div 3, before our new kit had arrived.
